Your support will make a huge difference to people like Niamh
Niamh was just 15 when she was first diagnosed with neuroblastoma – a rare childhood cancer that develops in nerve tissue. After a period of remission following treatment, her cancer returned in 2020 and she was referred to The Royal Marsden.
Through The Royal Marsden, Niamh was able to join a research trial. After just two cycles of the trial drug, lorlatinib, Niamh scans showed no active disease.
“Being on this trial at The Royal Marsden has been absolutely life-changing for me” says Niamh. The trial drug that I’ve been on since 2020 means I’m able to live a completely normal life – working, travelling and spending time with friends and family like any other 25-year-old.”
